I am from India. In India though we keep Cats as the pets, dogs enjoy more popularity than the Cats. But in India several superstitions are attached with the Cats. Today in this column I am going to discuss about some superstitions attached with the Cats prevailing all over the World.

In India people consider it as a bad omen if their way is crossed by a black Cat (for that matter it is applicable to any colored Cat, but black intensifies the Bad Omen according to them).

People from my time will agree with me that internet or computers have just added up the speed to the life and made the life bit easier but it is not true that without these things one can't live!

I know many of us have milk in their regular diet! Milk is rich source of nutrition, with many important ingradoents like Carbohydrates, proteins and fats. It is rich in minerals and Vitamins too. Milk is consumed directly or it is consumed in various other forms like Curds, Cheese, butter etc. Many people believe that milk as a vegetarian product.
 

Adidas the German Sportswear Company is planning to launch sport shoes in the rural market of India for one US Dollar a pair.
 

This news was shown on the one of the local TV channel few months back. According to the company they would be marketing these shoes through the net work of distributors in rural India.
 

Other day one of my friend used an oxymoron in one of his comments made on one of my blog on the other site - 'Educated Illiterates' which provoked me to write some thing about this!
I am not going into the definition of these words! In general illiterate people are those who can't read, write and because of this they have limited knowledge about the things which otherwise they could have picked it from written materials like books and news papers!
